On to San Francisco

Cookies…
I love cookies. I also love ice cream. Probably my favorite restaurant ever combines to the two in a super cheap combination. At Diddy Riese's right near UCLA, you can get a two delicious warm cookies with a scoop of dryer's ice cream in between for $1.50. These are no small cookies and no small scoops of ice cream. For me, its heaven.

We went there and all got ice cream sandwiches, and then I proceeded to buy 2 dozen cookies for the road. I wish I'd bought 4 dozen, because I love cookies, and they probably won't last long enough….
California Geography…
California has some amazing geography. Coming from a flat city, the mountains are truly amazing. We got to drive through them, and in the course of the day drove from the sea leave to 5,000 feet, and then back to sea level. The drive into San Francisco is also amazing. We came through Oakland, and getting to San Francisco involves driving over a very tall bridge, getting to an island/mountain and driving through the middle of it in a tunnel, then coming out the other side, and driving over another very tall bridge.
San Francisco Parties...
We arrived to San Francisco, some of us more tired than others, met up with our good dear old friend Charlie Dillingham and were immediately brought to a surprise birthday party, and hung out with some cool San Franciscans. We learned a drinking game called Tompkin which is a long winded combination of beer pong and flip cup. Some of us lasted longer than others. If only we had rechargeable batteries.
